Without the continued support of individuals and organisations across Yorkshire we would not be able to achieve so much with our members. View our recent supporters here.

Although Specialist Autism Services receives local authority funding to provide support for adults with autism, we rely on fundraising activities, charitable donations and grant funding to deliver lots of different types of services as well as ensure that we are well resourced across all of our departments. We use charitable donations for things like up to date IT equipment, that enables our members to communicate, develop social skills and progress towards their personal goals, as well as therapeutic art and cookery resources to support the development of practical life skills.

Your hard work and commitment helps us to ensure that we can reach out to more individuals with autism across Yorkshire and continue to spread awareness and understanding of the condition.

Are you in a position to donate your time instead? We are always looking for caring and dedicated individuals to volunteer in various roles across our organisation. You can learn more about our voluntary opportunities here.

Donate for free while shopping online

donate easyfundraisinglogoDid you know that whenever you buy anything online – from your weekly shop to your annual holiday – you could be raising a free donation for Specialist Autism Services?

There are nearly 3,000 retailers including Amazon, John Lewis, Aviva, thetrainline and Sainsbury’s, who will donate a percentage of the amount you spend to Specialist Autism Services to say thank you for shopping with them.

It’s really simple, and doesn’t cost you anything. All you have to do is sign up for free here.

Planning an event or challenge? Use MyDonate or Sponsorship forms

You can now make donations online through our MyDonate page. Unlike other online services like JustGiving, BT MyDonate passes on 100% of your donation to us without taking any commission or charging us anything! If you are planning a sponsored event or challenge you can set up a fundraising page through MyDonate very simply, whereby individuals can donate to you through your page.

Sponsorship & Gift Aid

Prefer to take donations in person? Download our sponsorship and gift aid forms below. All donations from UK tax payers are eligible for Gift Aid – this means Specialist Autism Services will receive £1.25 for every £1 that is donated! Find out more about Gift Aid by clicking here.

Wedding & party favours

When deciding your menu, table decorations and colour schemes you may want to go one step further by choosing to make a donation to Specialist Autism Services. As you enjoy your special day, you and you guests will be directly helping us to support individuals with autism across Yorkshire. Your guests probably won’t mind the loss of a few sugared almonds anyway! Find out more about the different fundraising options through Autism Gifts UK, including donation boxes, awareness raising gifts and cards by clicking here.

Donate a single amount by text

You can now make a donation to Specialist Autism Services via text message. Simply send a text to 70070 with the words SACA25 followed by a space and the amount you would like to donate (for example “SACA25 £10”).
