Wild Boar

We’re proud and grateful to be selected as one of this years Wild Boar Challenge chosen charities. The Wild Boar Challenge occurs every year with the aim of raising money for a number of charities and is organised by The Rothwell Lions (You can visit their website here). This year the challenge will be held on the 2nd of October.

The challenge involves a circular 65km (or 50km) off road cycling ride with the route starting and finishing in Rothwell Country Park. The route follows canal tow paths, disused railway lines, bridle paths and some minor roads. It passes through Parlington Park, skirts Lotherton Hall and passes through Temple Newsam estate before joining the river bank again to return to Rothwell Country Park.

If cycling or raising money for good causes is your thing, you might want to consider signing up and/or making a donation. You can find out more information about the challenge here.

Good luck to those that get involved!
