On the 29th of March the Leeds social skills group went to the Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield to see the ‘Solid Light’ display, by Anthony Mccall.

The Solid light display is a major display, a combination of cinematic sculptures and overlapping/immersive installations.

Anothony Mccall, is a british-born New York based artist, know to millions for solid-light installations dating back to 1973.

Standing in front of one of the shinning lights was like standing within a round/circular portal. We even made shadowy designs with finger tips in the shining lights.

It was a surprising experience, well worth sharing with fellow friends and companions bringing us all together, not just because we’re a social skills group but to enjoyably spend time together, visiting somewhere further a field.
